LAKE CITY, Fla. – On Thursday, September 26, Florida Gateway College will host a free event with author, speaker, and business leader Pattie Dale Tye.

In her book, “Ordinary to Extra-Ordinary,” Tye details the wisdom and insights she has gained in her over 30 years of experience guiding companies and individuals to navigate challenges, solve problems, and achieve their business and career goals.

About the presentation:
Targeted to college students, Pattie Dale’s talk will focus on what these individuals can expect as they start thinking about entering the workforce and what they want their career journeys to look like. Pattie Dale will speak on how to show up successfully and furthermore, how to end up with an extraordinary career! 

She will provide career advice on the following: knowing one’s strengths and aptitudes, bringing generosity to the workplace, not being distracted by money and being prepared for the inevitable career breaks that will come your way. 

Pattie Dale will also touch on her own career advice she received from her father, James Y. Wilson, who was a founder of Florida Gateway College.
